This is an exceptionally detailed collectible model of a movie car, the Dodge Charger in its famous 1969 “General Lee” version, which gained cult status in the popular TV series The Dukes of Hazzard from 1979. The series starred John Schneider, Tom Wopat, and Catherine Bach, and the orange “General Lee” became one of the most recognizable television cars of all time.
The original car is based on an American muscle car with a two-door coupe body and rear-wheel drive (RWD). Under the hood, it most commonly featured a powerful V8 engine, including a 6.3L unit or the legendary 7.0L 426 HEMI, with output in its strongest versions exceeding 375–425 horsepower—representing top-tier performance in the American sports car segment of its era.
